So …one question comes up ….(excellent video instructions first of all!) ….can you record a loop …then overdub on that same loop ….or do you have to have a different loop to record over the perviously recorded loop? Trying to figure out why the need for mutiple loopbacks. Thx!
Multiple loopers let you build separate loops that you can mute, clear out, effect or reverse, without having an effect on your other loops. You can just use one loop and overdub on it – but if you want to add this next level of complexity, it is there. Thanks for the comment.
This video is great, but one question, since you’re using a nano pad I believe, how can i do all this with a Yamaha MO8?..is it possible, thank you!
Abner,
I’m not going to crack the manual for the M08, but most big keyboards/workstations like it will send midi messages to your computer if you connect them with a USB or MIDI cable to your computer. Sometimes you need to set a keyboard to ‘MIDI control mode’, or something similar, where the keyboard can be set up to send whatever midi messages you choose, letting your customize it for whatever your application is.
