Back in the days I used to pine after a certain guitar amplifiers that could do two different distortions at once.  The theory is that you would have two speaker cabs hooked up and would have a different mind blowing distortion going to each – doubling the amount of bad-assedness coming from your axe.  Now you can do that with MainStage.  Get two amps and wire your sound card outputs up to them.  Prepare to rock my friends.

Learn how to set up two amplifiers to be controlled with one midi controller (most likely a foot pedal). You’ll be able to fade between the two amps and get a nice blend.
